Now – June 14, 2025 – Quarter Horse Racing – Experience the thrill of American Quarter Horse racing at Sam Houston Race Park, running from April 24 through June 14, 2025. This 25-day meet features live racing every Thursday at 4:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m. The season includes major stakes races such as the $150,000-added Sam Houston Futurity (G2) and the $100,000-added Sam Houston Derby (G3), culminating on closing day, June 14 .
