The one where Cypress gets a new Dairy Queen
On Monday, November 17, 2025 Dairy Queen celebrated their grand opening on Telge Rd in Cypress. Prior to this opening, there was only one other Dairy Queen in Cypress. Local residents had to travel towards the south side of Cypress, go towards downtown, or towards Katy to enjoy their favorite Blizzards, burgers, and cakes.
The new Telge Road Dairy Queen brings a full menu of classic DQ favorites to the heart of Cypress. Guests can now enjoy signature Blizzards, soft-serve cones, sundaes, and Dilly Bars, along with an expanded food lineup that includes burgers, chicken baskets, fries, and seasonal specials. The location also offers custom-order DQ cakes for birthdays and events, plus a convenient drive-thru for quick treats on the go.

With this opening, Cypress families finally have a hometown spot for the iconic Texas stop sign.
