Cy Falls, Cy Ranch football teams advance to Class 6A region semifinal

The Cypress Falls and Cypress Ranch football teams won their respective area round postseason games on Nov. 21 to advance to the Class 6A region semifinal round.

In Division I Region III-6A, the Golden Eagles defeated Katy Cinco Ranch, 46-25, at Katy ISD’s Legacy Stadium. Cypress Falls will face North Shore on Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. at TDECU Stadium at the University of Houston (3700 Cullen Blvd). 

In Division I Region II-6A, the Mustangs defeated Conroe Grand Oaks, 27-13, at Tomball ISD Stadium. Cypress Ranch will play Waxahachie on Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. at Waco ISD Stadium (1401 S. New Road).

Cypress Lakes High School ended its historic season with a 44-11 loss to College Park. The 2025 season marked the first playoff berth in program history for the Spartans.

Tickets for Cypress Falls are $14 each for adults and students and are sold online. Parking can also be purchased for $8. 

Tickets for Cypress Ranch are $9 each for students and $11 each for adults and are sold online. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $11 each for both adults and students. Parking is $5 and cash only.
