Houston Texans Make a Big Play for their Tiniest Fans at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital
In true game-day fashion, the Houston Texans brought playoff excitement to Houston Methodist’s Childbirth Center at Willowbrook – scoring big with families and staff. Mascot TORO and Texans cheerleaders surprised new parents and their babies, Houston’s newest fans, with Texans onesies and photo opportunities.
The visit wasn’t just for the babies, TORO and the cheerleaders also stopped by to celebrate their playoff advancement with hospital staff, spreading excitement throughout the unit.
Houston Methodist is the official healthcare provider for the Texans, a partnership that provides the team’s sports medicine, including orthopedic care, injury prevention and rehabilitation. This collaboration extends into community with Houston Methodist supporting student-athlete wellness and safety programs in the Houston area, applying innovations from professional athletes to treat everyday patients.
