Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood Celebrates the Flavors of Spain with an Exclusive Four-Course Wine Dinner in Cypress
Experience an unforgettable evening of Spanish cuisine and exceptional wines at Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood during their exclusive Spanish Wine Dinner. This one-night-only event invites guests to explore the rich culinary traditions of Spain through a thoughtfully curated menu paired with premium wines from some of the country’s most celebrated wine regions.
The evening begins with a traditional Spanish Pincho featuring grilled rustic bread rubbed with ripe tomato and garlic, finished with extra virgin olive oil and Jamón Serrano. This classic appetizer is paired with Roger Goulart Reserva Brut Nature Cava (2021), offering bright bubbles and refreshing notes that perfectly complement the dish.
Guests will then enjoy Fabada Asturiana, a hearty Asturian white bean stew prepared with morcilla, chorizo, pancetta, and smoked paprika. The robust flavors are paired with Mas Martinet Bru Priorat DOQ (2022), a bold blend showcasing the depth and character of Spain’s renowned Priorat region.
The second course features a Spanish Cider-Poached Shrimp Salad with tender lettuces, shaved fennel, citrus, and fresh herbs, finished with saffron aioli. This elegant seafood course is paired with La Val Arantei Albariño (2023) from Rías Baixas, known for its crisp acidity and bright citrus notes.
For the entrée, guests will savor a wood-grilled 8-ounce Filet Mignon served with Riojana potatoes, asparagus, and a rich tempranillo reduction. The dish is complemented by Contino Reserva Rioja (2018), a refined and complex red wine that highlights the best of Spain’s iconic Rioja region.
The evening concludes with a decadent Basque Cheesecake finished with orange blossom honey, salted Marcona almonds, and bee pollen. This Spanish-inspired dessert is paired with Lustau Capataz Andrés Deluxe Cream Sherry from Jerez-Xérès, creating a memorable finale with layers of sweetness, richness, and complexity.
