CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize resources of the community to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Dr. Nhu Dao, dentist with The Dental Office of Katy, shared that adopting Duryea and Walker is two-fold.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with our local schools to promote oral health education and ensure that every child has access to the dental care they need,” Dr. Dao said. “At The Dental Office of Katy, we believe that a healthy smile is an essential part of overall well-being, and we’re excited to work hand-in-hand with educators and families to create lasting positive change in our community.”

This partnership brings encouragement, connection and real support that will help us grow stronger together.”

Kim Dameron, Walker principal, shared her excitement to The Dental Office of Katy for partnering with the campus.

“Our new partnership with The Dental Office of Katy allows for our campus to strengthen ties with our growing community,” Dameron said. “We are looking forward to a partnership that loves on our staff, students and community. We are truly blessed to have a second adoption here at Walker and we’re looking forward to continuing our vision of doing what is best for students with our new partner.”
