November Is Filled with Magic! Acclaimed Magicians Bring Comedy, Mystery and Wonder to Greater Houston
November is bringing a little extra magic to Greater Houston as MagicNight Productions presents nationally recognized magicians Max Zawacki and Harry Maurer at five local venues throughout the month.
From mind-reading and sleight of hand to comedy and audience participation, the performances offer audiences an entertaining alternative for a night out, with two additional opportunities to enjoy live entertainment over Thanksgiving weekend.
Max Zawacki takes the stage at GuadalaHarry’s on November 10. Featured on ABC and NewsNation and seen at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, Zawacki combines sleight of hand and mentalism in interactive performances that keep audiences guessing.
Harry Maurer, an internationally experienced comedy magician, brings his quick wit and engaging style to four Greater Houston venues. His career includes television appearances on ABC and CBS, performances on cruise ships and casino stages worldwide, and opening for such entertainers as The Supremes, Rita Rudner, Ray Romano, Jason Alexander and Frankie Avalon. A nominee for Atlantic City Entertainer of the Year, he has also entertained U.S. presidents, celebrities and international royalty.
Thanksgiving Weekend Offers Two More Reasons to Celebrate
The holiday fun continues after Thanksgiving dinner. Maurer’s November 27 performance at The Owen Theatre in Conroe is family-friendly, making it a great outing for children, parents, grandparents and visiting relatives. The following evening, November 28, he performs at Sterling Country Club for a clean, adults-only audience, offering couples and friends 18 and older, an entertaining night out.
“November is a great time to get out, enjoy an evening together and make some memories,” said Carol Ann Kitchell, spokesperson for MagicNight Productions. “Max and Harry each bring a distinctive style, and audiences can look forward to evenings filled with surprises, laughter and moments they’ll be talking about afterward.”
MagicNight Productions presents nationally touring comedy magicians and mentalists throughout Greater Houston. Its entertainers have appeared on America’s Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Masters of Illusion and The Tonight Show, as well as on cruise ships and in casino showrooms.
