Come fill your souls with joy at Lone Star College-CyFair’s “Sounds of Wonder” choral concert Dec. 6.

‘Tis the season to be joyful, and as LSC-CyFair’s Chamber Singers and Concert Choir continue its journey to inspire and educate through music, families will enjoy the singing and rejoicing with classical Christmas carols and holiday favorites.

“This year’s program will include ‘A Ceremony of Carols’ by English composer Benjamin Britten and other selections,” said Dr. Paulo Gomes, LSC-CyFair’s Director of Vocal Division and Choral Activities. “In addition, we will have our traditional sing-along with the audience and a visit from someone from the North Pole.”

Special guests accompanying Gomes, who is conductor of this delightful evening of wonderment, will be two amazing musicians including harpist Hope Cowan and pianist Eunae Lee.

For tickets and information on this 7:30 p.m. performance in the Center for the Arts Main Stage Theatre, go to LoneStar.edu/boxoffice.

Registration is underway for winter mini-mester classes that start Dec. 16 and spring semester classes that start Jan. 13 at LoneStar.edu/regcyfair.
