St. Luke’s Health Announces Opportunity for Nonprofit Organizations to Apply for Grants Improving Community Health
St. Luke’s Health is inviting local nonprofit organizations to consider applying for grants that support the delivery of services vital to improving health and well-being, and improving health equity. The application period opens July 20 and runs through September 18, 2026. Successful applicants will be notified in January 2027 for projects funded for the period April 2027 through March 2028.
This opportunity is part of the CommonSpirit Health Community Health Improvement Grants program. St. Luke’s Health is a member of CommonSpirit Health.
The grant program supports others to help address significant needs identified in St. Luke’s Health’s most recent community health needs assessment. The hospital conducts a need assessment every three years to help it and community partners identify and address priority health and social needs faced by residents and the region. St. Luke’s Health is accepting proposals that address the following priorities:
- Access to healthcare
- Heart disease and stroke
- Cancer
- Mental health
- Social drivers of health
“We are consistently inspired by the impactful work of nonprofit organizations in our communities,” said Fawn Preuss, Regional Director for Community Health & Benefits for CommonSpirit Health. “These grants foster critical partnerships, enabling us to collaboratively address pressing health disparities and create sustainable change. We encourage both established and emerging organizations whose missions align with our priorities to apply.”
Grant applications for $20,000 or more must include collaborating partner organizations helping to deliver services, and not solely one organization working alone.
