A new residential product in Bridgeland Central blends modern outdoor lifestyle with urban walkability

By  |

Bridgeland continues to be the fastest-growing master planned communities in Houston and will now offer an exclusive new home design option. The community offers an unrivaled balance between the tranquility of the natural environment and the luxury and convenience of modern facilities and amenities. Today, Howard Hughes announced a new residential offering exclusive to Bridgeland – the Easthaven Collection. The single-family home series blends the charm of metropolitan architecture with the appeal of a vibrant, urban-inspired neighborhood, centered on community connection.

“We continually evolve home design to meet the changing needs of residents—an intentional approach that has helped shape The Woodlands and now, Bridgeland,” said Jim Carman, President of the Houston Region at Howard Hughes. “With the Easthaven Collection, we’re building on that commitment — introducing a more urban-inspired single-family offering that reflects how today’s buyers want to live and supports our vision for a dynamic, walkable town center.”

The community approaches development with a pedestrian first mindset. Throughout its 11,500 acres, residents have walkable access to parks, amenities, schools and shopping. This philosophy is realized again with the addition of the Easthaven Collection.

Two noteworthy builders, David Weekley Homes and Brightland Homes have been selected as the exclusive builders for the collection. Homes in the new series will be located within the emerging 925-acre commercial district of Bridgeland Central. Homebuyers looking to be close to everything will find a dynamic mix of shops, restaurants, workplaces, and entertainment offerings coming soon in the Village Green at Bridgeland Central – all within walking distance.

The Easthaven Collection will feature a variety of single-family floor plans, ranging from 2 to 4 bedrooms and spanning 2,500 to 3,150 square feet. For those who like to entertain, dual-access garages double as flexible social spaces that open to private, courtyard-style backyards. Select plans include an optional second-story roof terrace, further enhancing the indoor-outdoor living experience. Expanded front porches and reduced setbacks encourage neighborly engagement, strengthening the connection between private homes and shared public spaces. This thoughtful approach to urban design fosters street-level engagement and nurtures a warm, welcoming neighborhood atmosphere.

Residents will also enjoy access to Easthaven neighborhood amenities, including two parks, direct connectivity to Bridgeland’s 250-mile trail system and the Josey Lake corridor.

Children living in Easthaven are currently zoned to Cy-Fair ISD and may attend schools within Bridgeland’s 127-acre K–12 educational village: Wells Elementary, Sprague Middle, and Bridgeland High School. The community is also served by three early childhood education providers—Primrose Schools, The Goddard School, with a Kids ‘R’ Kids location planned to open this summer. In addition, Harmony Science Academy-Bridgeland, a PreK-6 public charter school, and Cypress Christian, a K–12 school, are scheduled to open in the fall of 2025.
