The Picklr will open in late Summer 2025 in Cypress
The Picklr, North America’s fastest-growing indoor pickleball franchise, announced today that it will open two new locations in the Houston area in the next few months. The Cypress, TX location will feature six courts, including one training court. The Woodlands, TX location will feature 20 courts, including four adaptive pickleball courts for wheelchair athletes, with championship-sized courts filling out the rest. Both locations will feature high-quality proprietary outdoor surfacing will be installed by Just Courts, the official court layer for The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), Major League Pickleball (MLP), and The Picklr.
The Picklr Cypress will be located in the former ASI Gymnastics building at 8920 Barker Cypress Rd, Cypress, TX 77433.
“Bringing a pickleball facility to Cypress will not only provide a fun and engaging recreational outlet for residents of all ages, but will also foster a sense of community and promote a healthy and active lifestyle,” said Steve Nguyen, owner of The Picklr Cypress.“This facility will serve as a vibrant hub for social interaction, skill development, and friendly/competitive competition, enhancing community bonds and offering a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.”
Members of The Picklr will have access to unlimited open play, league play, and tournaments, as well as four free pickleball clinics and four guest passes for use each month. The Picklr’s certified trainers offer separate private and semi-private lessons and clinics. Additionally, all Picklr members will be able to use their membership at all of The Picklr locations nationwide.
