Empowering Others Preparatory Launches High School Career Track in Sports Media
Empowering Others Preparatory is proud to announce the launch of its School of Sports Media Career Track, an innovative program designed to prepare high school students for success in the rapidly evolving digital media industry. Applications open January 2026 for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Blending hands-on content creation, branding strategy, and real-world marketing projects, this program equips students with the skills, portfolio, and professional connections needed to excel in the digital economy. Career pathways include social media strategist, content creator, influencer brand manager, and digital marketing specialist, fields projected to grow significantly in the coming decade.
“We believe today’s students shouldn’t have to wait until college or beyond to start building a career-ready skill set,” said Dr. Monica Cuellar-Willis, Head of School at Empowering Others Preparatory. “Our new School of Sports Media bridges classroom learning with industry experience, giving students a head start in one of the most in-demand professions.”

Our innovative program offers students a dynamic educational experience where 60% of learning takes place in the classroom and 40% in the field. This model equips students with both academic knowledge and practical skills, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application.
Designed as a private high school college preparatory program, students have the opportunity to graduate with an associate degree, setting them ahead of the curve as they move toward higher education or career paths.
Students will also complete internships, work on live client projects, and build professional portfolios, graduating with both credentials and experience.

Applications open January 2026, with the program beginning in Fall 2026. Eligible students are incoming high school students interested in digital media, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
