Heath has 31 years of experience in education. His career began as a technology and business teacher and coach in Aldine ISD. After 12 years as a classroom teacher, he moved into administration, joining CFISD as an assistant principal at Bleyl Middle School in 2007. He served in the role for four years before serving as an assistant principal at Cypress Falls High School for one year.

Heath also served as summer school principal at Cypress Falls in 2010 and Bleyl in 2011. In 2012, Heath was promoted to associate principal Cypress Woods High School, where he served for 11 years before being named to his current role as principal at Aragon in 2023.

After graduating from Cy-Fair High School in 1985, Heath earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and Master of Education from Prairie View A&M University.

“I am incredibly honored and excited to serve the teachers, students, families and community of Cy-Fair High School. Being raised a Bobcat shaped both the person and the leader I am today, making this homecoming especially meaningful,” Heath said. “It is a privilege to carry forward and build upon the proud tradition of excellence at Cy-Fair High School.
