Memorial Hermann Cypress Celebrates Opening of Third Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Expanding Advanced Heart and Stroke Care
Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital recently celebrated the opening of its third Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab #3), marking another significant milestone in the hospital’s continued investment in advanced cardiovascular and neurovascular care for the growing Cypress community.
As northwest Houston continues to experience rapid growth, the expansion of the hospital’s Heart & Vascular program will help provide patients with faster access to advanced, lifesaving care closer to home. The new Cath Lab also introduces neuroendovascular capabilities, an important step in Memorial Hermann Cypress’ journey toward becoming a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center.
Designed with both patients and care teams in mind, the state-of-the-art facility enhances the overall patient experience while supporting the hospital’s long-term vision of expanding specialized medical services for the region.
The project represents a collaborative effort among Memorial Hermann Cypress’ cardiovascular and neuroendovascular physicians, nurses, clinical support staff, engineering teams, and construction partners, whose dedication helped bring the new Cath Lab to life.
The addition of Cath Lab #3 complements the hospital’s ongoing campus investments and reflects Memorial Hermann Cypress’ commitment to meeting the future healthcare needs of Cypress and surrounding communities. Hospital leaders look forward to the countless lives that will benefit from the advanced heart and stroke care the new facility will provide for years to come.
