The first blood drive will take place on Thursday, July 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital in the Women’s and Children’s Pavilion Atrium (1st Floor), located at 18220 State Highway 249, Houston, TX 77070. The event is open to all eligible blood donors throughout Greater Houston.

A second community blood drive will be held on Saturday, August 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the George H.W. Bush Community Center, located at 6827 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379, in Room 119.

Blood donations are essential year-round to support patients undergoing surgery, cancer treatments, trauma care, and other medical emergencies requiring lifesaving transfusions.

As a thank-you for donating, participants will receive an Eagle Blood Drive T-shirt while supplies last and will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win Eagle Fest tickets.

Appointments are encouraged, and donors can review eligibility requirements and register in advance for either blood drive through Houston Methodist’s online registration pages.

By donating blood, community members can make a meaningful difference and help ensure hospitals throughout Greater Houston have the blood products they need to care for patients when it matters most.
