Aug 1, 2026 – Back To School Drive-Thru Event – Cypress Assistance Ministries is hosting their Back to School Supply Event on Saturday, August 1st from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing students in need with essential school supplies to start the year strong. Families in the Cypress area are invited to attend and receive backpacks and grade-appropriate items to help set their children up for academic success. Aug 1, 2026 – Back to School Supply Drive-Thru – Cy-Hope’s Back to School Supply Drive-Thru returns on August 1st, offering free backpacks and basic school supplies to families in need—no pre-registration required! Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and students must be present in the car to receive a backpack. While each student will receive essential supplies, please note that not all items from school supply lists can be guaranteed. Plan to arrive early and help your student start the school year prepared! Learn More
August 1 – September 7, 2026 – Houston Restaurant Weeks – Houston Restaurant Weeks™ 2026 is a 38-day dining event benefiting the Houston Food Bank. From August 1 through September 7, participating restaurants across Greater Houston will offer specially priced prix fixe brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, with proceeds helping provide meals for those in need. Menus go live July 15—view participating restaurants and plan your dining experience at houstonrestaurantweeks.com.

Aug 2026 – Escapology Cypress is a unique, immersive, and always private escape game where players are gathered inside a themed room and must complete their mission before time runs out. Stepping inside a real-life adventure, they must find hidden clues, crack codes, and solve puzzles to make an escape—all in an hour! Learn More
August 28, 2026 – Cy-Fair Ten Pin Challenge – You’re invited to an exciting afternoon of bowling, food, and fun at the Cy-Fair Ten Pin Challenge on Friday, August 28! Grab your co-workers for a high-energy day of team building and rock & roll vibes at the lanes. A $425 team entry includes 4 bowlers, 3 games, shoe rental, and meal tickets for each participant. Hosted by the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce and proudly underwritten by Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital, this is one event you won’t want to miss! Learn More

August 15, 2026 – Cheers for Charity benefiting Second Chances – Raise a glass for a great cause at Cheers for Charity, benefiting Second Chances, on August 15, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Red Oak Ballroom at Norris Conference Centers. August 8, 2026 – Cypress Cars & Coffee – (8:00am – 10:00am) Open to the public to visit but show cars are required to register and requested to provide information in advance of the show. Visit their website and submit your vehicle year, make, and model for registration or DM us on FB or IG. Registration is FREE. Show cars are asked to remain parked until at least 930am. Harris County PCT 4 Constable Security will be onsite along with our coffee vendor Baby Bloo Coffee. We encourage families and auto enthusiasts to come see these unique and incredible machines!
