Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila Brings a New Upscale Mexican Experience to Towne Lake in Cypress

A new restaurant  is coming to Towne Lake. Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila, the newest concept from family-owned Grupo Herrera Restaurants, brings a fresh, modern Mexican dining experience to Cypress, with a menu inspired by upscale Mexican flavors and an agave-forward bar program.

Located at 11231 Greenhouse Road, Suite 150 in Cypress, the open-concept restaurant is putting the final touches on its Towne Lake location which will open on September 28th.

For the Herrera family, Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila is an opportunity to launch an elevated Mexican cuisine concept. The family has long wanted to introduce upscale Mexican, and the new location, in the heart of Towne Lake, provides the perfect opportunity to bring this vision to life. 

The menu takes a modern approach, described by Dario Herrera as the fresher side of Mexico. It introduces a fresh take on seafood, steaks, ceviche, tacos, fajitas, and other Mexican favorites, bringing an upscale concept to the community that customers have been asking for and that has been missing from the local dining scene. It is a fusion of upscale dining with a Mexican cuisine influence focused on bold flavors, quality ingredients, and tableside experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila embodies coastal influences into both its food and atmosphere. The decor is an open and airy space with a modern coastal feel, creating a polished, inviting setting without being overly formal. The relaxed atmosphere complements the restaurant’s focus on gathering around the table and enjoying a full dining experience.

A central component of Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila is their agave program. The upscale bar will feature signature cocktails built around tequila, mezcal, fresh citrus, seasonal flavors, and modern takes on classics. The agave collection includes tequila from Los Altos and El Valle, along with prestige selections, mezcal, sotol, and other distinctive bottles chosen specifically for the casa.

Menu cocktails are craft made from scratch at the time of ordering; including specialty show cocktails adding an interactive element to the experience. Designed to stand on its own, the agave program gives guests yet another reason to visit for cocktails and spirits beyond dinner.

Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila is also offering a Locker Collection, where guests can purchase and privately store favorite spirits in a dedicated Casa Locker while receiving exclusive perks. Membership details will be revealed soon, but the program is designed to ensure the ultimate personalized guest experience.

Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila is sure to be a destination where guests can dine throughout the day, with lunch and dinner served daily, and weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Brunch will bring together American and Mexican breakfast favorites, while lunch will offer lighter takes on dinner menu favorites alongside lighter dishes created specifically for midday dining.

Galiana’s Casa Del Tequila will continue the Grupo Herrera Restaurant’s tradition of offering  tequila and wine dinners, agave tastings, seasonal celebrations, chef experiences, and other limited events planned throughout the year. For all dining, guests can enjoy dine-in, takeout, and delivery. Walk-ins are welcome after the soft opening, while reservations are encouraged. 

Galiana’s Casa del Tequila will celebrate its soft opening from September 21 through September 27, with dinner service from 5 PM to 10 PM by reservation only throughout the week. Reservations are required for the soft opening, so guests are encouraged to reserve their table in advance to experience the new dining destination during its opening week.
