Neurosurgeon Keith Kerr, MD, has joined Memorial Hermann’s Mischer Neuroscience Associates – Cypress.
In practice since 2013, Dr. Kerr is board certified in neurological surgery and sees patients of all ages. Dr. Kerr’s training encompasses all aspects of neurosurgical care, including disorders of the brain and spine. Among the conditions he treats are brain trauma, brain tumors, Chiari malformations, concussion, cysts of the brain, hydrocephalus, seizures, trigeminal neuralgia, cervical degenerative disease, cervical disc disease, cervical spine trauma, cervical stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, lumbar stenosis, spine tumors, thoracic disc disease, lumbar disc disease and thoracolumbar spine trauma.
Dr. Kerr earned his undergraduate degree in biology at The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at UTHealth Houston/Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where he was selected as most valuable resident and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies. He has presented at professional conferences and authored numerous journal articles and book chapters on topics related to neurological surgery.
