Drop by to learn about all the opportunities and support Lone Star College-CyFair has to offer from academic programs and workforce training to Student Life organizations and The Honor’s College at LSC-CyFair. Get answers to admission, financial aid, registration and advising questions as well as find out what resources for success are available. April 1, 2026 – The Cy-Hope Clay Shoot will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at Westside Sporting Grounds. This event brings together individuals and businesses for a day of camaraderie and competition. April 2026 – Escapology Cypress is a unique, immersive, and always private escape game where players are gathered inside a themed room and must complete their mission before time runs out. April 5, 2026 – Easter at Houston’s First Cypress Campus – On Sunday, April 5, 2026, Houston’s First Baptist Church Cypress Campus invites you to celebrate Easter with us. We will hold services at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM. Programming for children ages 3 and under will be available during all services. April 11, 2026 – Tacos and Tequila Festival – The Tacos and Tequila Festival is set to take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, Texas. April 10, 11 & 12 – The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival – A cherished spring tradition returns to Town Green Park and along The Woodlands Waterway® April 10–12, 2026, inviting art lovers to experience creativity in full bloom at The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. Produced by the local arts nonprofit The Woodlands Arts Council, the festival’s proceeds directly support year-round arts programming, including local microgrants and student art scholarships. April 11, 2026 – Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash – The Children’s Memorial Hermann IRONKIDS Texas Fun Run & Doggie Dash will be held on Saturday, April 11 at Northshore Park in The Woodlands. The IRONKIDS Fun Run offers young athletes the opportunity to feel the excitement of competition, while enjoying the outdoors and promoting healthy living. April 24, 2026 – Montgomery & North Harris Go Red For Women – Join us at the Montgomery County & North Harris County Go Red for Women Fashion Show & Luncheon on Friday, April 24, 2026 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. For more than 20 years, the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women, has met the evolving health needs of women and addressed the awareness and clinical care gaps of their greatest health threat, cardiovascular disease (CVD). Go Red for Women is a source of credible, equitable health solutions at every age, stage, and season of life, walking hand-in-hand with women as a trusted health partner. April 24, 2026 – Katy Sip N Stroll – The much-anticipated Katy Sip N Stroll event is set to return April 24, 2026, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at The ARK by Norris Event Center in Katy, offering attendees a one-of-a-kind experience that pairs exquisite wines, delicious food, and live entertainment all benefitting Christ Clinic. Visit their website and submit your vehicle year, make, and model for registration or DM us on FB or IG. Registration is FREE. Show cars are asked to remain parked until at least 930am. April 25, 2026 – Food Fair – Cypress Assistance Ministries partners with the Houston Food Bank several times a year to host Drive-Thru Food Fairs, offering free, fresh produce to anyone in need—no zip code restrictions. These events take place 6–8 times each year, at 12930 Cypress N. Houston Rd. Simply bring a photo ID, drive through the distribution line, and volunteers will load your vehicle with fresh fruits, vegetables, and other essentials—no registration required. Upcoming food fairs will be held on April 25, 2026, and May 16, 2026. These events make it easy for individuals and families to access healthy food with dignity and ease. Learn More

May 2, 2026 – A Taste of Cy-Fair – The 8th annual A Taste of Cy-Fair is BACK on May 2nd! After being postponed last fall, this favorite community event returns to Lakeland Village Center with dozens of local restaurants, plus samples from breweries and wineries—making it the perfect night to discover new favorites.
