Eye Center of Texas Expands with New Cypress Location
Eye Center of Texas announced today the opening of its newest location in Cypress, Texas, expanding comprehensive ophthalmology care for patients in the Northwest Houston community. The new office, located at 22215 Cypresswood Dr., Suite 116, Cypress, TX 77433, will begin seeing patients on May 26, 2026.
The Cypress location marks the practice’s seventh office and reflects Eye Center of Texas’ continued growth since its founding in 1990. The new location will offer a full range of medical and surgical eye care services, with a focus on cataract surgery, LASIK and other refractive procedures, and YAG laser capsulotomy. Patients will also have access to comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma management, dry eye treatment and care for a wide range of ocular conditions. By bringing these advanced services closer to home, the new location improves convenience and access to high-quality vision care for patients in Cypress and surrounding communities.
Samuel R. Long, M.D., will see patients at the Cypress location. Dr. Long is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in refractive and anterior segment surgical care. He has extensive experience in premium cataract surgery, including the use of femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery (ReLACS), as well as advanced intraocular lens technologies such as extended depth-of-focus and multifocal lenses.
