A Taste of Cy-Fair Ticket Giveaway

Dozens of restaurants from Cy-Fair and across Houston will be serving up their finest flavors, from savory bites to sweet treats. Sample mouthwatering dishes and drinks from favorites like Alicia’s Mexican Grille, Connie’s Ice Cream, Dario’s Steakhouse & Seafood, Tiff’s Treats, Dolce Tentación, Creekwood Grill, Galiana’s Tex Mex & Agave Bar, Graze Craze, Tejas Burger Joint, BJ’s Restaurant Brewhouse, Whataburger, For Heaven’s Cake, R & R Crafthouse Grill, Fogo de Chão, Marvino’s Italian Steakhouse, Via 313 Pizzeria, The Backyard Grill, and many more. In 2017, A Taste of Cy-Fair was launched to support those impacted by Hurricane Harvey, and it has since grown and evolved. “Now in our seventh year, it’s inspiring to see how A Taste of Cy-Fair has become more than just a food and wine festival. It’s truly a celebration of community spirit,” said Robin Beattie, owner of Squeaky Wheel Restaurant Marketing and one of the founding board members. “The generosity of our partners and attendees continues to push us forward, allowing us to raise more for Cy-Hope each year.”
Since its launch in 2017, A Taste of Cy-Fair has grown into a tremendous success, raising approximately $20,000 in its first year, $40,000 in 2018, more than $50,000 in 2019, over $50,000 again in 2022, a record-breaking $75,880 in 2023, and $66,000 in 2024—all in support of Cy-Hope, with only 2020 and 2021 disrupted by the pandemic. Mark McShaffry, owner of Backyard Grill and Creekwood Grill and a founding board member, reflected on the event’s journey: “When we began in 2017, we simply hoped to bring people together after hardship. Today, it’s grown into one of Cy-Fair’s signature events, filled with energy, generosity, and purpose. Every year, I’m amazed at the way local businesses, restaurants, and residents rally together to make it unforgettable.” Looking ahead to 2025, McShaffry highlighted the crucial support from sponsors Jake’s Finer Foods, Stellar Bank, and High Tech Machinery. “Their support makes all the difference,” he added. “We’re determined to build on last year’s success and make an even greater impact for Cy-Hope.”
