This contribution illustrates the commitment of The Grand Prairie to fostering educational excellence in the local community. The funds will help cover costs associated with transportation, meals, a fun outing, and t-shirts, enhancing resources for various UIL activities, including academic competitions, theater, music, and other fine arts programs, contributing to students’ growth and college readiness. A Texas-based organization, UIL provides quality educational competitions administered by school personnel on an equitable basis while promoting good sportsmanship and cooperation among member schools.

“In The Grand Prairie, we believe in investing in our community by supporting future generations’ educational and extracurricular endeavors. We are incredibly proud to support Waller ISD, particularly its UIL program, which helps students excel and reach their maximum potential,” said Sandra Ferguson, vice president of sales and marketing for EMBER Real Estate Investment & Development. “Waller ISD’s dedication to providing diverse opportunities for student achievement through programs like its robust UIL program aligns perfectly with our vision of creating a thriving and vibrant community.”
