Located at 16710 Gleeful Grove Street in the growing Hockley community of Harris County, Children’s Lighthouse of Jubilee will serve families throughout the surrounding areas, including Waller, Cypress and Tomball. The school will be operated by Jyothi Oblum, who oversees operations for four additional Children’s Lighthouse schools in the area, including Cross Creek Ranch, Spring Harmony, Clay Road and Nottingham. Driven by her commitment to expanding access to exceptional early childhood education, Jyothi Oblum is thrilled to be creating a nurturing, inspiring educational environment where children can thrive and families feel supported at every step.

“Breaking ground on Children’s Lighthouse of Jubilee represents a meaningful next chapter for not only our school, but for the entire community,” said Jyothi Oblum. “We’ve seen firsthand how important a nurturing early learning environment is for children and peace of mind for parents. Our goal is to create a place where children feel supported, teachers feel empowered, and families feel confident in the care their children receive every day.”

Children’s Lighthouse of Jubilee will serve children ages six weeks through 12 years old, offering infant, toddler, preschool, pre-K and school-age programs. The school will implement the brand’s proprietary Lighthouse Pathways® curriculum, thoughtfully designed to foster academic readiness, character development and confidence-building in every child.

Infants and toddlers benefit from a warm, nurturing environment that supports early developmental milestones, language growth and motor skills. As children transition into preschool and pre-K, the curriculum emphasizes a balanced blend of structure and exploration, incorporating hands-on learning, early literacy foundations and critical thinking. School-age students will have access to before-school and after-school programs that include homework support, enrichment activities and character-building experiences in an engaging setting.

“We are proud to continue growing in the Greater Houston area, bringing our trusted, value-based early education to more families across the region,” said Michael Brown, President of Children’s Lighthouse. “Jyothi Oblum has long been dedicated to making a positive difference in the neighborhoods she serves, and this new school reflects that continued commitment. Beyond providing an exceptional early childhood education option, Children’s Lighthouse of Jubilee will also be a place where children and their families can grow together for years to come.”
