Cypress Woods HS baseball team advances to regional finals

The Cypress Woods High School baseball team advanced past the regional semifinal round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and will move on to the regional finals beginning May 22.

Cypress Woods defeated Royse City in a best-of-three series. The Wildcats won game 1, 6-0: before tying at game 2, 1-1: and clinched with a 5-1 win in game 3. Cypress Woods advances to face Tomball in the Region 2-6A Division 2 finals in a best-of-three series to be played at Cy-Fair High School (15415 Cypress North Houston Road).

·         Game 1 – 7 p.m. on May 22

·         Game 2 – 7 p.m. on May 23

·         Game 3, if necessary – 1 p.m. on May 24
