Family Ties Hosts Free “Prevent the Cold” Community Event December 9
This December, Family Ties, a free victim services and family resource center serving Harris and Waller Counties, invites the community to join their annual “Prevent the Cold” Drive-By Event on Monday, December 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. at 2114 Field Store Rd., Waller, TX 77484.
Family Ties provides free therapy and advocacy for children and families affected by abuse and domestic violence, working tirelessly to stop the cycle of violence and promote healing throughout the community. Each year, the organization hosts this special event as a way to give back and show appreciation to the community they serve.
During the drive-by, visitors will receive a free blanket and hot chocolate for everyone in their vehicle — a small but meaningful gesture to help families stay warm and connected this winter.
