Langham Creek HS softball team earns area postseason victory

The Langham Creek High School softball team advanced past the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and moves on to the region semifinal round this week, while Cy-Fair High School concluded its season as area finalists.

Langham Creek defeated New Caney in a best-of-three series by the scores of 6-0, 0-2 and 5-3. The Lobos advance to play Forney in a best-of-three series at West High School (1008 Jerry Mashek Drive):

·       Game 1 – 7 p.m. on May 8

·       Game 2 – 7 p.m. on May 9

·       Game 3, if necessary – 1 p.m. on May 10

Tickets for Langham Creek will be $5 apiece (adults and students) and will be sold online. No cash will be accepted at the gate.
