Oct. 4, 2025 – Cy-Fest – LSC-CyFair’s annual free family-friendly community celebration, set from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, features a pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, children’s trains, inflatable, musical entertainment, STEM activities, food trucks and much more. October 4, 2025 – Wine Walk – An annual favorite, the H-E-B Wine Walk takes place Saturday, October 4, 2025. Grab your friends and join the Wine & Food Week favorite. October 18, 2025 – Galiana’s Tequila Dinner with Código 1530 – Galiana’s Tex Mex & Agave Bar invites guests to an exclusive Tequila Dinner in partnership with Código 1530 on Saturday, October 18, at 7 p.m. in Cypress. October 24, 2025 – Hocus Pocus Pops – Join The Pavilion for Hocus Pocus Pops, a free show with Houston Symphony on Friday, October 24. All treat, no trick! Get ready to kick the Halloween season off in style! You’re invited to enjoy a haunting evening of plaza trick-or-treating, ghoulish games, spooky songs and a cacophony of costumes! It’s all the fun you’ve come to expect from a Pavilion performing arts show, with a creepy twist that’s just the right amount of scary for any family. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costume for a chance to walk on stage during the concert. The first 100 boys and girls to check in at Hocus Pocus Central in the North Plaza, fully costumed, get the chance to march in the Goblin Parade. Oct. 1, 2025 – The Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce invites the community to its Economic Forum for an in-depth look at what’s happening in Economic Development, Transportation, and Healthcare at the state and local level. The event will feature an expert panel with industry leaders from Caldwell Companies, Prologis, and Winthrop Realty Group, followed by a keynote lunch with Craig Rhodes, Senior Vice President of Economic Development at the Greater Houston Partnership, presenting on the current state of Houston’s economy and future trends. Now – October 4, 2025 – Waller County Fair & Rodeo – Saddle up and head to the Waller County Fair & Rodeo, happening September 25 through October 4 at the Waller County Fairgrounds in Hempstead (21988 FM 359). October 7, 2025 – National Night Out 2025 – On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, neighborhoods across Cypress and Texas will join together for National Night Out, an annual event that strengthens police-community partnerships and promotes safer, more united communities. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to step outside, connect, and enjoy an evening of fun while building stronger relationships with local law enforcement. If your neighborhood is patrolled by Constable Mark Herman’s Office, community leaders are encouraged to register their event at ConstablePct4.com so deputies and resources can be coordinated to visit as many neighborhoods as possible. October 7, 2025 – College Night at the Berry Center – All secondary students and parents are invited to attend College Night at the Berry Center on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. This free event is a great opportunity to explore college options and connect with representatives no matter where you are in the search process. Attendees should park in Lots A & B and enter through Entrance 2. Free parking will be available, concessions will be open, and no registration is required. October & November 2025 – Lone Star College-CyFair Drama Performances – This fall, the LSC-CyFair Drama Department presents two powerful plays highlighting the courage and achievements of women in history. From October 9–18, student actors bring to life Melanie Marnich’s These Shining Lives in the Black Box Theatre, telling the true story of the “Radium Girls” of the 1920s—four women who battled workplace radiation poisoning while fighting corporate negligence with resilience and friendship. Then, from November 6–15 in the Main Stage Theatre, Lauren Gunderson’s Silent Sky celebrates astronomer Henrietta Leavitt, whose groundbreaking work in the 19th century reshaped our understanding of the universe. Blending humor, romance, and historical drama, the play explores the challenges women faced in a male-dominated field and the personal sacrifices made in pursuit of science. October 11, 2025 – Bridgeland’s Veterans Fun Run/Walk for Heroes – This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, and begins at Festival Park in Lakeland Village. Offering you a chance to run your personal best, it’s an opportunity to get some exercise and fresh air while spending time with family and neighbors. Participants can choose from a timed 10K run or 5K run or walk, and new this year, a 5K Flag Team run/walk both beginning at 8 a.m. A children’s 1K run around a portion of Lake Bridgeland will begin at 9 a.m. Encouraging young families to participate, the children’s walk is the only race open to strollers and wagons. October 11, 2025 – Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas – Held in October each year, the Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas race series, produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, features three exciting races held each October: the 10-mile Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas, the 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K, and the One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run. October 11, 2025 – Spooktacular 2nd Saturday at Tomball Depot Plaza – Grab your costumes and head to Tomball Depot Plaza on Saturday, October 11, for a Spooktacular 2nd Saturday celebration filled with family fun.
