May 2, 2026 – A Taste of Cy-Fair – The 7th annual A Taste of Cy-Fair is BACK on May 2nd! After being postponed last fall, this favorite community event returns to Lakeland Village Center with dozens of local restaurants, plus samples from breweries and wineries—making it the perfect night to discover new favorites. Upgrade to VIP for early entry at 4 PM, access to a VIP tent, and swag bags, or join us for General Admission at 5 PM. Enjoy live music, a silent auction, and a great night out with the community. May 6, 2026 – 7th Annual Contemporary Music Festival – Experience a day of innovative sound and creativity at the 7th Annual Contemporary Music Festival on May 6, 2026, at Lone Star College-CyFair. This unique event features three performances in one day, beginning with free Recital Hall events at 4:00 p.m. (Scordatura: New Music for Violin and Group Improvisation) and 6:00 p.m. (Wild Tracks: Intercollegiate Student Composer Recital featuring students from multiple universities). The festival concludes at 7:30 p.m. with a dynamic performance by the LSC-CyFair Percussion Ensemble, guest violinist Mario Zelaya, and the debut of the ARDEA Contemporary Players. May 7, 2026 – Cy-Fair Women’s Club 2026 Scholarship Reception – Join the Cy-Fair Women’s Club 2026 Scholarship Reception on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Dunham Pointe Conference Room at Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital (27800 Northwest Freeway, Cypress, TX 77433). This special evening will celebrate 20 graduating seniors from Cy-Fair ISD area high schools who have been selected as recipients of the Cy-Fair Women’s Club 2026 Scholarships. May 8, 2026 – “Illuminare: America’s 250th Celebration” – Celebrate a milestone in American history at “Illuminare: America’s 250th Celebration” on May 8, 2026, at Lone Star College-CyFair. This special concert marks the grand finale of the college’s performing arts season with a powerful musical journey through 250 years of American independence. May 9, 2026 – Cypress Cars & Coffee – (8:00am – 10:00am) Open to the public to visit but show cars are required to register and requested to provide information in advance of the show. Visit their website and submit your vehicle year, make, and model for registration or DM us on FB or IG. Registration is FREE. Show cars are asked to remain parked until at least 930am. Harris County PCT 4 Constable Security will be onsite along with our coffee vendor Baby Bloo Coffee. May 24, 2026 – Memorial Day in The Woodlands – Join The Woodlands Township for the annual tribute to fallen heroes. The Woodlands Township invites residents to the Memorial Day in The Woodlands event on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, from 5 to 9 p.m. The Sunday event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving our country. The tribute features live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park.
