The educational month of activities designed for feline fans kicks off with a Curious Cat “Purrson” Party (leave your cats at home) featuring videos, games, crafts, a photobooth and more “CATivities” June 6.

Come “Catch the Curiosity” all month long with “Paw-ssive” Programs, such as cat coloring pages, cat puzzles and cat zine contest; Kitty Cat Story Times, “Purr-ler” Beads (Tween Craft Time) and children take-and-make crafts; and virtual social media programming (Instagram and Facebook) with Crafting with Kitties on Fridays and Kitty Cat Book Recs on Tuesdays.

Activities available for adults ages 18 and up will include:

June 9: Curious Italian Cats: A Cat Talk and Photo Exhibition (with cappuccinos, visual tour of cats from the heart of Italy and discussion of Italian culture and law about feline friends)

June 10: “MEOW-t” of this World Book Club (a discussion of Matt Dinnamin’s “Dungeon Crawler Carl”)

June 11: Curious Cat “Balloga” (a relaxing combination of ballet and yoga with adoptable kitties)

June 13: Pet Friendly Plants (a “MEOWvelous” gardening program with discussion of more than cat nip)

Save the date June 20 to wrap up the month with the fifth annual Curious Cat Café when cat lovers can meet adoptable kitties and the crew from a local foster-based cat rescue as well as enjoy pastries, beverages, cat-themed games and a colorful cat craft station.
