Representatives from the Jones and West Road location of H-E-B visited Post Elementary School on Aug. 20 to announce the store’s Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.

Every year, the Jones and West Road H-E-B location selects a deserving school to receive $500 worth of products to support teachers and staff to welcome them back for a new school year. Teachers and staff were served breakfast and treats to celebrate the new partnership.

Dion Scott, store leader at the Jones and West H-E-B location, shared excitement for recognizing Post as an Adopt-a-School campus this year.

“H-E-B loves CFISD and CFISD loves H-E-B,” Scott said. “Every year, we adopt a school and this year we decided to adopt Post. We are extremely glad to be able to provide products and supplies for the wonderful teachers and staff at Post.”

Dr. Karen Stockton, principal at Post, shared gratitude for H-E-B choosing to partner with Post for the year.

“A huge thank you to H-E-B for providing our staff with delicious treats and drinks to commemorate our new partnership,” Dr. Stockton said. “We are so thankful for their generosity and support. We appreciate the partnership and look forward to continuing to work together throughout the year.”
