It’s time for pumpkins, cooler weather, and festivals! With our list of local fall festivals, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as you celebrate fall with friends and family.

September 13 – November 9, 2025 – Fall Festival at Dewberry Farm – This Fall we’ve got it ALL at Dewberry Farm! From September 13th- November 9th, Bring the whole family to Fall Festival and enjoy a day of Texas-sized fun filled with pumpkins, great food, friendly farm animals, and over 40 rides & attractions! We’re celebrating 76 years of Charles Shultz’ Peanuts, the world’s most beloved comic strip with an 8-acre Peanuts-themed corn maze, Peanuts photo ops, and activities! September 19 – November 2, 2025 – Nightmare on Bauer Hockley – Get ready for thrills and chills this fall at Nightmare on Bauer Hockley, running from September 19 through November 2, 2024. This spine-tingling haunted attraction brings together multiple haunted houses, eerie sets, and live actors for an unforgettable night of fright. Perfect for Halloween lovers, it’s one of Cypress’s most anticipated seasonal events, offering plenty of scares, screams, and spooky fun. September 20 – November 2, 2025 – Harvest Season Farm Pumpkin Patch – Experience the magic of harvest season at our farm’s annual pumpkin patch, showcasing hundreds of pumpkins across the property. Enjoy free access to our bounce house and playground, while optional activities include pumpkin painting and hayrides for a fee. We welcome pets and offer a variety of food options, including BBQ, burgers, wings, and hotdogs from our on-site vendor. September 20 – November 23, 2025 — Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch — Come and be part of the Fall Blessington Farm Fun on the weekends through November 23, from 9am to 4pm. With 25+ activities included in your admission, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Each weekend we will have a variety of Vendors and Food Trucks out at the farm. September 20 – November 2, 2025 – Houston Pumpkin Festival – Fall fun is heading to downtown Houston as the Houston Pumpkin Festival transforms Discovery Green (1500 McKinney St.) into a festive farmland getaway. Families can enjoy one-of-a-kind attractions like the world’s largest bouncy pumpkin, a massive corn pit, and over 50 varieties of pumpkins with endless photo opportunities. Unique activities include crystal LED-lit kayaks, tree net climbing, pumpkin houses, Cinderella’s carriage, and other whimsical experiences like the Pink Tree of Life, Sunflower Walk, and Giant Pin Art. The festival runs Monday–Thursday from 3–10 p.m. and Friday–Sunday from 10 a.m.–10 p.m., with tickets priced at $18 weekdays and $26 weekends (children 3 and under are free). September 25 – October 4, 2025 – Waller County Fair & Rodeo – Saddle up and head to the Waller County Fair & Rodeo, happening September 25 through October 4 at the Waller County Fairgrounds in Hempstead (21988 FM 359). This long-running community favorite features a full schedule of excitement—from thrilling rodeo action and livestock competitions to carnival rides, live music, and delightful fair food. Be sure to catch standout performances like William Clark Green and Southall on September 27, and Easton Corbin with Kate Watson closing the event on October 4. September 27, 2025- Festival of the Wolves – The fall is coming and so is the Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary’s biggest festival of the year! Come out and see the pack with your friends and family and shop for neat artisan finds from our local vendors at the same time. The animals and their keepers will be having special enrichment demonstrations throughout the day! You can also enjoy some of our community’s yummy food trucks, while the kids enjoy the kid’s zone. October 3 – November 22, 2025 – Oil Ranch Fall Festival – Fall Fun is Back at Oil Ranch! The annual Oil Ranch Fall Festival kicks off on October 3 and runs through November 22, bringing family-friendly fun and festive traditions to Hockley. Visitors can enjoy the popular U-Pick Pumpkin Patch, hay rides, miniature golf, petting zoo, train rides, pony rides, and plenty of photo opportunities, along with seasonal activities that make the festival a local favorite. Oct. 4, 2025 – Cy-Fest – LSC-CyFair’s annual free family-friendly community celebration, set from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, features a pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, children’s trains, inflatable, musical entertainment, STEM activities, food trucks and much more. Come meet firefighters and see fire trucks and equipment up close. Get information on the college’s Center for the Arts, Academy for Lifelong Learning, library services and other programs. October 11, 2025 – The Grandest Home Tour & Fall Festival – Celebrate the season and discover your dream home at the second annual Grandest Home Tour & Fall Festival on Saturday, October 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Grand Prairie. This free, family-friendly event combines autumn charm with home inspiration, featuring tours of 10 stunning model homes crafted by six premier builders, live country music, and festive fall fun for all ages. October 11 & 12, 2025 – 44th Annual Katy Rice Harvest Festival – The Katy Rice Harvest Festival returns for its 44th year, celebrating the community’s deep roots in agriculture, small-town charm, and local history. Taking place in downtown Katy, the festival features carnival rides, live entertainment, local shopping, farm animals, and a special adventure area for kids and families. Once known as the “Rice Capitol of the World,” Katy continues the tradition of honoring its agricultural heritage while bringing together generations of families and friends for a weekend of fun. The carnival is back this year, with all-day passes available—$30 for a single day or $50 for the weekend (festival admission ticket required). October 18, 2025 – Fall Frenzy Craft Fair & Silent Auction – Fall Frenzy at Tomball Methodist Church is a community-wide event open to the public. Come and shop 50+ vendor booths spread over two buildings & the grounds of the church all benefitting Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministry (T.E.A.M) and The Renewal Center in Tomball (TRC). November 1, 2025 – Depot Day Fall Fest – Get ready for an unforgettable day at the Depot Day Fall Fest! This event is where trains meet autumn charm, creating a perfect family outing. Dive into the excitement with a massive model train display that will captivate enthusiasts of all ages, and don’t miss a visit to Tomball’s historic Depot Museum for a dose of local history. November 8 & 9, 2025 – The Pavilion’s Children’s Festival: “Little Woodfest” – The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is transforming into “Little Woodfest” for this year’s Children’s Festival—a family-friendly, kid-sized music festival! Presented by Texas Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands, the two-day event takes place Saturday, November 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 9 from Noon to 5 p.m. Tickets, available starting Thursday, August 28, are $10 per person and include all performances and activities.
